Tornado Relief Support

Our hearts are with the Clarksville and Nashville communities affected by yesterday's tornado. In times of adversity, the strength of a community truly shines, and it is with this spirit that Fortera commits to stand by our members and neighbors during their time of need.

In response to this crisis, Fortera will be contributing both time and financial resources to aid in the recovery efforts. We are dedicated to supporting our members, employees, and communities as we work together to rebuild and heal. Our commitment includes providing financial assistance, volunteering our time, and leveraging our resources to contribute to help restore homes and livelihoods.

Member Emergency Assistance

If you have an emergency financial need due to tornado damage, Fortera will be offering loan payment and fee waiver assistance. To learn more about this support, please:

Additional emergency resources are available through the following relief agencies:

  1. YAIPak Outreach – distributing emergency supplies and food (www.yaioutreach.org)
  2. Red Cross of TN – opening shelters and coordinating emergency relief assistance with local government and response teams. Those in need can call 1-800-REDCROSS for assistance or find shelter locations by clicking here:
  3. Manna Café Ministries – providing shelter, food and other supportive resources. They will also be serving a hot meal every evening until further notice at their location at 503 D Street, Clarksville. (www.mannacafeministries.com or 931.933.0970)
  4. Mosaic Church – coordinating volunteer efforts, providing shelter and supplies. They are located at 1020 Garrettsburg Drive, Clarksville and have shower units, places to do laundry, charging services, food, etc. (www.mymosaicchurch.us or 931-552-2045)
  5. Milan Enterprises – offering housing with first month free rent, application and security deposit fee assistance, short-term lease options, utility assistance, and one month free storage for personal belongings that need safeguarding (931-538-6049)

How to Help

Fortera is partnering with YAIPak to collect supplies for recovery efforts. If you would like to donate, items may be dropped off at our Lowe’s Drive branch, located at 2050 Lowes Drive. Following is a list of current items needed:

  • 5-Gallon propane tanks and refills
  • Extension cords in any length (50 and 100 ft preferred); 10 or 12 gauge wire
  • 1 and 2 inch ratchet straps
  • Household cleaning supplies
  • Contractor bags
  • Duct tape
  • Flashlights
  • Portable lights
  • Work gloves
  • Small generators
  • Plywood
  • Plastic Totes with lids
  • Rope
