Fraud Courier Scam

We recently became aware of a Fraud Courier scam targeting some of our members. Scammers are calling individuals claiming to be from Fortera’s Fraud Department and are saying that the member's debit card has been compromised. The scammers may even be spoofing our phone number so that it appears you are receiving a call from Fortera. They then ask the member to place their debit card in their mailbox and inform them that a courier will come to their house and pick up their card from their mailbox. Please note that Fortera will never ask you to do this. If you are ever in doubt about the legitimacy of a call you receive, please hang up and dial us directly at 931.431.6800.
