Text Scam Alert

We recently became aware of text scams targeting some of our members. In the scam, fraudsters send a text message claiming to be from Fortera, asking you to confirm a purchase or new device. The text asks you to click on a link to take further action.

See some examples below of fraudulent text messages members have received. The links in these texts include "Fortera" or "Fortera Credit Union" as a way to trick you into clicking them. Please do not click on the link if you receive any texts like these.
