Verification Code Scam

We recently became aware of a verification code scam targeting some of our members. Scammers are calling members pretending to be from Fortera's Fraud department and saying they need to verify a pending charge. Before they can verify the charge they say that they will be sending you a verification code via email or text. Once they get you to verify the code they sent they will attempt to get additional information from you like your card number, online banking login, or social security number. As a reminder, never give your online or mobile banking user ID and password combo, full account or card number, PIN number, 3 digit CVV Security Code, or full Social Security Number unless you called us directly at 931-431-6800.
