We recently became aware of a phishing scam targeting our members. Scammers are sending text messages claiming there may be a charge on your account and asking you to confirm or deny the transaction. The message includes a link to “verify” the charge. The texts are coming from a number beginning with area code 309.
DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.
If you click the link, you may be directed to a fraudulent website that asks you to enter your online banking login credentials and multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes. This information can be used by scammers to gain unauthorized access to your account.
