Fortera Announces Jennifer Ventimiglia As President

Fortera Credit Union announces Jennifer Ventimiglia as the financial institution’s new President. The Clarksville-based credit union has been led for twelve years by President/CEO Tom Kane who will retire later in 2022. Ventimiglia assumed her new role on January 1, 2022, and will work alongside Kane who remains as CEO until his retirement.

She began her career at Fortera in 2015 as Chief Digital Officer and rose to her most recent role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. During her tenure, the credit union has grown from $470 million in assets and 49,500 members to $713 million in assets and 70,000 members worldwide. “Jennifer’s transformative leadership has been integral to Fortera’s culture and success. Our solid growth is driven by her passion for the credit union’s cooperative mission to always serve the best interest of our members and team members. With an innovative approach and strong business acumen, she has elevated Fortera in a competitive environment and is well poised to lead this organization forward,” said Kane.

Fortera’s board of directors announced the appointment with tremendous confidence in her leadership. “As we look to the future, it is important that our president and CEO provide a strategic vision that will advance the impact we make in the lives and communities we serve,” said Rick Hackwell, Fortera board chairman. In her 25 years of financial service experience, Jennifer’s knowledge and achievements demonstrate her keen focus on our mission-minded purpose. Having led Fortera’s recent field of membership change, she is instrumental in expanding Fortera’s horizon for the future.”

Established in 1954, Fortera has expanded from serving the United States Army Base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to a full-service financial cooperative with members worldwide.
